I don’t think this will be the last time this year that Kevin Durant will be the “rookie of the month” in the NBA.  He was selected as the Western Conference rookie of the month for the month of November.  Durant is so humble that he didn’t even respond with a smile.  The guy has gotten so many accolades over his career that this is just another tally on the chart.

“It’s a good recognition,” Sonics coach P.J. Carlesimo said. “I’m sure he’d trade it for a few more wins.”
