Kevin Durant hit the game winner the other night at the end of the 2nd overtime. His 3 pointer gave the Sonics a 126-123 win over the Hawks.
“This is what I live for,” Durant said. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
It was really an amazing shot. With the game tied up, defender in his face, he hit a fadeaway 3.
“Al Horford was right on it, but I faded away, and fortunately it went in,” Durant said. “I’m starting to get used to playing every other night or so, and I’m gaining confidence with my game.”
Something tells me this will be the first of many game winners Durant hits in his career! What a stud!
